Open Question- What did you see on your ride today?

It was finally warm enough and dry enough to get out for a good ride. I rode a local trail and saw a lot of walkers. Without the leaves on the trees, there was a lot of evidence of the old farms that the trail goes through, stone barn foundations, brick supports of some kind, unidentifiable rusting piles of steel, etc. The trail runs under a fairly new elevated road and some one was bored enough to take the rocks from the embankment and stack them into little towers. That was about it.
1) A herd of elk
2) A huge snowman made of the large round hay bales holding up a "hay 4 sale" sign.
3) A coal-fired power plant
4) A road sign that said "no non-motorized vehicles allowed" with an icon of a bicycle surrounded by a red circle with a line through it
5) A train
It was a long ride.

Swollen rivers, flooded greenway, considerate traffic; I heard the obnoxious thump of rude asses in cars with loud stereos, I felt the difference of a few psi in new tires. I saw bright sunshine, flags waving in a bit too much wind, and the OLD remnants of last winter's ice storm all over the city. I saw bumpy, raised blocks of sidewalk that were and are a joy to hop off of, and I saw opportunity after opportunity to gorge myself on junk food go by because I forgot my lock.
Yeah, I think all of the garbage has just compiled and has been hidden under snow for the past four months. Aside from trees leaning over in the strong wind, the only thing out of the ordinary was a case of domestic abuse. As I was headed home I saw a guy kicking the **** out of his girlfriend, so I stepped in, and then called the police. Sad sad sad...
On my first metric century (November) I saw the box that a vibrating waterproof ***** came in.
On my first century (last month) I saw a surprising amount of roadkill, almost no litter, and only a handful of other cyclists.
Today, I saw pedestrians that appear deaf to the expression "on your left."

Actually – since it was raining like crazy – I rode the Fortius. I always see the monkey (huge primate actually) running there. Great trainer.

Perfect riding weather today. Went for a loop around White Horse Beach, there was a speed monitor on Taylor Avenue. I slowed down to see if it would actually pick me up, and it did - going 11 MPH past it.

Five dozen other cyclists, riding everything from a beater commuter to a carbon Cannondale roadie, to my Dakar XLT.
40+mph winds kick my front wheel sideways.
My first armed (!) cyclist -- guess that's why he acts like a d!ck -- because he can.
Too much broken glass in the road. As usual. D*mned drunks.
