Hello there
I have been training cycling (MTB) for almost 10 years, and by power for the last 6 years.
I am 40 years old, 80 kg, and my FTP is 330W
So, to my question:
My only training is the following:
During autumn/ winter. 2 or 3 x 20 min. SST training, and during the rest of the year, I try to break my record on a hilly course (62 km, which takes about 2 hr. 30 min to complete in a" race-fashioned speed" with a NP of 270-290W for the duration of the ride.
My goal, is races with the same duration, terrain and climbs
Is this "ok" or is it to much of a mix-up of zones and intensity??
Should I be more structured to "gain more" (One easy day, and one sprinting day?)
Any input or comment is very welcome!
