I just got an odd email, shown below. The reason I post it here is that the To: line had ten email
addresses one of which was Myra's, the other eight I didn't recognise. I assume the usual sort of
shenanigans, but did wonder if urc posters had been targeted specifically, anyone else get one?

[email protected] ? Don't you recognize that? I mean, I've been away a long time, but...

Harumph. Everybody ignores me. I noticed you.

Yep - got shitcanned with all the rest of the spam. It's a novel ruse, mind - send someone an
email saying that they've been removed from some list or other, they reply saying something like
'what have I been removed from' and *bam!* let the spam fest begin.

I noticed this, recognized your name but no one else's, and though "Great, whatever list I've been
eliminated from, so much the better!"

Ha! I'll get revenge, somehow... I'm sure there must be a ****-email-a-minute list around somewhere
that I can sign you up to.

I guessed that that was the ploy, so I used Myra's address to reply ;-)

I've got the email. No-one I recognise, but seems to have bike shop email addresses
