Ordering A Bike From The UK

Has anyone ordered a bike from the UK?

How much duty did you pay?

Was the process difficult?

Should I order a frame only and build it up here?

I did exactly as you suggest. I bought a pair of $2800 frames and the duty was about $200 when they arrived at my door. That $200, by the way, was unexpected so I wasn't thrilled to write that check to the UPS man...

What's duty? Shipping or tax?
