I am a Badminton coach/player (hence the nickname Lefty).
I noticed there are quite a few Canadian and Minnesotan posters here and I
thought this may be of interest esp. if you are in the SE Manitoba or NW
Ontario, or northern MN areas.
My club is sponsoring the Fort Frances Badminton Club International
Invitational Jr & Adult 2006 Tournament on March 25 & 26 in Fort Frances,
Ontatario.
Participants usually come from Winnipeg and Kenora areas, to east of Thunder
Bay, and northernmost MN for a great weekend on 9 courts at Fort Frances
high School -- all levels A,B,C; competiton separated to 4 jr., Adult, and
50+ age groups. Very reasonable, $30(Canadian) for one event, $35 for 2 or3.
This is your invitation-- it's on me. If you are interested let me know here
asap so I can contact you and special accommodations can be made (there is a
hockey tournament in town also that weekend). I have always thought it would
be a great oppotunity for a food outing as well --there is still time for
planning.
