    Read this story and thought about MFW for some reason. Here's the link:

    Summary: Cory Maye is sleeping in his duplex when his door is kicked in by
    armed men. He shoots, one intruder drops. The rest start yelling "police!"
    Maye drops the gun, surrenders. The guy he shot dies. Maye is black. The
    dead guy is the son of the chief of police, and is white. Maye has no record
    of any sort.

    Maye is now on death row...
