Toronto cycling activists will stage the city's third annual "Ride of
Silence" this evening to commemorate those killed or injured on bikes, and
remind drivers that cyclists have rights.
Cyclists are expected to gather for the event, a slow ride in which
participants are asked to remain silent, at 6:30 p.m. at Bloor Street West
and Spadina Avenue. Organizers say four cyclists have died in collisions
since the first Toronto ride of silence in 2005.
