My server(s) have had a nasty, I was locked out of newsgroups. outgoing e-mails and incoming
e-mails. It also seems to have clobbered my active newsgroups within OE5 as no posts were received
from 21/7/03. My post about dangerous cycle paths was written at that time but was trapped by the
outgoing e-mail problem. I gather that it did go eventually as I have had a direct reply from
someone. The only recovery for the newsgroups appears to be to unsubscribe and re-subscribe to
each in turn. However my other large newsgroup is trying to download 15,000 messages which is why
I have not re-activated uk.r.c and so have not been able to read any responses. I hope to sort
this out when I come back after the Birthday Rides (but have not seen any posts about this), see
some of you there?
