It was just posted to the CMass-sydney list and I'm vaguely aware that
someone was lamenting about it not being shown in Sydney.

Hi there,
I'm just writing with some news that I hope you may be interested in passing
on to members. As you may be aware, we are proudly opening Tomas Gislason's
new film OVERCOMING (M) at Dendy Opera Quays this week. We're delighted to
be giving this cycling docu-drama of the CSC 2004 Tour de France team a
theatrical release. I'm currently attempting to raise awareness through the
cycling community and various sources have mentioned your organisation as a
starting point.
As a launch party we are holding a special Opening Night event on this Thurs
(Feb 9th) at 6.30pm. It's an event to promote the film and raise awareness
of cycling safety. A portion of proceeds are going directly to the Amy
Gillett-Safe Foundation, and there's a bike ride to the event starting at
Bar Coluzzi in Darlinghurst at 5.30pm. Upon arrival cyclists will be able
to enjoy free coffee and refreshments. The Sydney premiere will then
commence at 6.30pm! Bookings can be made on 02 92473800.

wondering whether you would be interested in announcing the film's
theatrical release and the Opening Night event in your various forms of
communication? I can provide images, film specs and some in season double
passes to see the film if you're interested in running a competition.
