  1. I recently switched from riding a mountain bike to an ebike. Because I sit more upright on my ebike and ride longer distances, I'm experiencing a lot more discomfort in the saddle than I expected. With the bike shorts that I have, the padded area in the back is only about 6 1/4 inches at it's widest point, and my sit bones are wider than that. I checked on the width of Terry's Flex Air Tour Chamois, and they say that it's 7 inches at the widest point. My at-home measurement of my sit bones is 7 3/8 inches.

Has anyone else here encountered this problem? I would really like to be able to ride more than a few miles. Is it more practical to look for a wider bike seat? I'm not sure where else to look for a chamois that's wide enough for me.

Thanks for all ideas and suggestions!
