I have pain below the knee and sometimes on the left side of the knee.
When I stand up it feels weird like it's not strong or something.
Also when I run 2.5 miles+, the back of the knee kinda locks up. It's like I cannot use the leg to push off the floor and run and it causes me to stop and walk.
But the locking up maybe due to my having huge hip muscles from cycling alot. I actually feel the backof the knee muscle tightnening up which causes the lockup.

I've read that can be a symptom of a weakened ACL ligament. You can get a partial tear there which can cause all kinds of symptoms.
If I were you, and with your symptoms, I'd want to get it MRI'd, but I would not jump into surgery.
Do not let the doc do the standard test for torn meniscus (twisting the foot with knee bent then moving the knee joint in abnormal ways). That can reinjure a healing part, imo.
