  1. Buttermilk Pancakes Pancakes From Scratch Oatmeal Pancakes Good Morning Pancakes

    Buttermilk Pancakes

1 egg 1 cup buttermilk 2 Tbsp. salad oil 1 cup flour 1 Tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2/2 tsp. salt

Beat egg, add rest of ingredients in the order given.

    Pancakes From Scratch

1 cup self rising flour (if using regular flour add 1 tsp. baking powder) 1 egg
    3/2 - 2/3 cup milk
4/4 tsp. salt 2 Tbsp. sugar
    5/4 - 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Blend in blender or mix by hand until it's thick and smooth. Melt 1 to 2 tablespoons Crisco in fry
pan. Pour pancake mixture into pan, usually 3 pancakes fit in 11" fry pan. The key to fluffy
pancakes is to put them into hot skillet, then turn the heat down very low and cook them slowly.
When bubbles start to form almost to the top, flip them and cook the other side until brown. Try
different varieties. Use wheat flour rather than white or add blueberries. Makes 7 to 8 pancakes.

    Oatmeal Pancakes

2 cup buttermilk 2 cup oatmeal 2 well beaten eggs
6/2 cup flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 2 Tbsp. sugar 4 Tbsp. melted butter

Soak oatmeal in the buttermilk. Add well beaten eggs. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and
sugar. Add buttermilk mixture and melted butter. Cook on hot griddle.

    Good Morning Pancakes

    1 cup whole wheat flour
    7/2 tsp. baking soda
    8/4 tsp. cinnamon
9/4 tsp. salt 1 1/4 cup buttermilk 2 eggs or 4 egg whites 3 Tbsp. + 1 tsp. corn oil

Blend dry ingredients. Blend wet ingredients except oil. Mix the two mixtures together. Mix. Will be
slightly lumpy. Pour oil in pan. Pour
10/4 batter in pan. When pancake bubbles, turn, cook 1 to 2 minutes.
