Pant leg sprocket interference

Plenty of casual riders will tuck the pant leg into the sock to keep it out of harm's way.
It is not a critical application. Rubber bands will work, as will tape. There are even special bicycle pant clips https://www.google.se/search?site=&...54.3..0j35i39k1j0i131k1j0i22i30k1.iYQsqtbaL50 that you can buy for the purpose.
Or get a bike with a chain case.
Or fit a crank protector to the crank.

It's a real conundrum on the style bike that i ride.If you can't peddle thru you have to find something to lean against or a soft spot to do a controlled crash that is in coasting distance.
Your displayed Avatar looks like you are actually posing for attention with the Sports Car rather than being serious about a cycling related dilemma and the seemingly unnecessary question can nevertheless be answered by using either a cycle clip or riding naked for even more attention.

This issue is on here quite regularly and I am beginning to think that the various posters perhaps suffer with some form of Attention Deficit Syndrome.
Perhaps they should print off the various responses and keep them in a folder for future reference.
More correctly the post title should read Pant leg Chain-ring Interference as the sprockets are on the rear of the bike and on whichever cassette is being used.
