Translated from my rusty high school Italian - he had gone there on 'holiday', seen to be acting
starnge by staff, seen by porter in afternoon alive and found dead in evening with no signs of
violence. Expressions of shock by Moser, Ballerini and others.

You don't go on holiday in a place 20 kms away from your hometown.
