I've been meaning to post this for a few days now, but forgot:

There was an article in my local paper, in which police said they'd had
a sighting of one of the tandems reported, in a housing estate near the
Manchester velodrome; which seems odd, since that's miles away from
where they'd been nicked.

I've heard rumours that bicycles can be used as transport to get to
different places. Apparently tandems go twice as fast.
I'm surprised to read in the article that Trek and Canondale tandems are
heavy, can't be sold and can't be used ...
