I want to make one. I'm hoping someone will take three quick and dirty measurements for me, as I
cant find one around here to measure myself, and it would save me running around measuring all sorts
of bicycles to make sure my own tool worked as necessary-

my questions:
1. how long is the straight edge that rests across ST/HT, before the tool bends
2. when you place the straight edge on the ground, how high is the curved part above the ground?
3. about how long is the tool altogether?

nothing terribly accurate necessary. i just need to get in the ballpark, i think

Have some string? You already have one. Tie onto one dropout, loop around headtube, tie to other.
measure distance from string to seattube on each side-ya got a '***' tool...
