Hi all,
these days particle pollution has been extremely high around here (as high as 170 µg/m^3 for PM10 in some areas -- Laws here set a limit of 50 µg/m^3, beyond which they must do something, for ex. reduce speed limits on highways, etc.).
A short introduction to particle pollution aka particulate matter here: http://www.air-watch.net/airwatch.php?action=aqbasics&cmd=particle
Now to cycling: do someone have an idea of how much of this is too much to train without damages to lungs and/or other consequences?
I once read an article on cyclingnews (http://www.cyclingnews.com/fitness/?id=code_red) about Ozone, but I haven't found anything about particle pollution so far.
