My birthday is fast approaching (this Saturday), and as I'm in an odd stage for a student
involving no drinking I don't want to do the traditional "occupy a pub" party. So I've pretty much
decided on a vegan dinner party - I'll make something moderately large, and everyone else can
bring a dish and enjoy the foody goodness. So, could someone recommend something big (feed 10+
people), cheap (student so no money), vegan and tasty?
Thanks!

I like making grilled caesar salad too; it's a nice trick, doesn't take much time and it's got a
really unique flavor.
(Cut each romaine heart in half leaving the stem on, spray with a little olive oil, sprinkle on salt
and pepper. Grill for a couple minutes on each side...little bit browned, a bit wilted, and serve
with tasty croutons and an olive oil/nutritional yeast/garlic/lemon juice dressing. I like it with
Granny Smith apples and white raisins on top. You can either serve each guest a whole half a romaine
heart, or cut it all up for everybody)
