Hello,

I'm a newbie in the latex tube world so bear with me.

Q: Can a latex tube be patched? if so, then are there special patches to use?

Thanks.

Any patch will do.

Just don't over-sand when roughing up for the cement, and be careful not to overinflate the tube before the tire is fully mounted. The latex stretches (lots) more than the patch will.

When I patch tubies--all my tubies have latex tubes--I use Velox cement and patches cut from an old latex tube. Alternatively, you could get some latex cement to use.
