Peggy Nebbe, 29-year co-owner of the Bike Barn in Ogden, Iowa has died after a long battle with
cancer. The Nebbe's have been long-time recumbent apostles, and sell (or have sold) Bacchetta, RANS,
Bike-E, Linear, and Penniger trikes in their shop.

The obit follows:

Peggy Ann Nebbe, 60, of Ogden, Iowa, died of cancer Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, at Boone
County Hospital.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 24, 2003, at 10
a.m. at Bethel Church, rural Boone, Iowa. Rev. Ray Hoke will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00
to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 23 at Bethel Church. Following visitation her body will be
cremated. A private family burial of ashes will be held at a later date.

Peggy Ann Nebbe was born on Dec. 6, 1942, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Wilbur and Helen
(Sheppard) Harvey. She graduated with the Johnston High School Class of 1961, and from Iowa
State University in the winter of 1966, with a degree in Zoology. Peggy was united in
marriage to Douglas Nebbe on Aug. 28, 1965, at Meredith Drive Reformed Church in Des Moines,
Iowa. She taught school from 1966 to 1968 at Saydel Jr. High, after which she focused on
raising the couple's three sons. In the spring of 1971, Peggy and Doug moved to Ogden where
they established their home. She then worked as a bookkeeper in the family business, Four-N
Industries, until 1974. Peggy and Doug then founded the Bike Barn in Ogden, where she stayed
involved in the everyday activities until her death.

Peggy belonged to Bethel Church in Boone where she was the Choir Director, helped with AWANA,
and directed "The Gospel According to Scrooge" for many years. She enjoyed the many camping
trips and bike rides she took with her family. Most of all she enjoyed the time spent with
her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Nebbe of Ogden, Iowa; three sons and their spouses,
Robb and Joelle Nebbe of Leeds, England, Dann and Sue Nebbe of Ames, Iowa, and Jonn and Alissa
Nebbe of Clarion, Iowa; her mother, Helen Harvey of Johnston, Iowa; three grandchildren, Iann,
Noah and Isaiah Nebbe; two brothers and their spouses, Gary and Kay Harvey of Woodbury,
Minnesota, and Steve and Anna Harvey of Osceola, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. She was
preceded in death by her father and a nephew.

Memorials may be directed to Bethel Church rural Boone, Iowa.
