Pen Twyn Mawr - Waun Fach - Pen Cerrig Calch

I am hoping to cycle from Crickhowel up Pen Twyn Mawr then traverse along the high ridge to return to Crickhowel via Waun Fach and Pen Cerrig Calch. Two questions about the route.

1. Are the paths suitable for mountain biking (assuming reasonably dry weather)?

2. Are mountain bikes welcome/ permitted in the area?
