Pepper Steak Stir Fry
Pepper Steak Stir Fry
1 lb strip steak, cut in one inch strips
A1/4 cup soy sauce or Braggas liquid aminos
A1/4 cup rice vinegar
A1/2 cup water
1 Tbsp minced ginger
1 Tbsp minced garlic
3 Tbsp cornstarch
Mix above ingredients in sealed container and marinate for about an hour.
2 Tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp. Sesame oil
1 shallot, thinly sliced
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper, cut into 1 inch strips
A1/2 lb rice, udon or yakisoba noodles, soaked and drained per pkg
directions
1 Tbsp black sesame seeds
Heat oil in wok. Stir fry meat for 4 minutes, reserving marinade for
later use. Remove meat from pan and set aside. Add a bit more oil if
necessary and stir fry shallot for a minute, then add onion and bell
pepper, stir frying for 3 minutes more. Add noodles, and continue to stir
fry for 3 minutes or until lightly browned. Pour marinade over vegetables
and noodles and heat until thickened. Stir in the meat and sesame seeds,
then serve.
