Performance Mg/Ti Pedals - opinions?

I used the Wellgo version with mag body and steel axle. They were just fine except for the fact the wellgo cleat is slightly different than the look cleat. The Wellgo cleat does not work in a Look pedal. A Look cleat does work in a Wellgo pedal but is catches a little when releasing which was quite annoying. This probably would not be an issue but I had two bikes and only one set of shoes. I ended up getting a low end pair of looks for my 2nd bike (pp206).

They seem a bit expensive as well for Wellgos. I have seen the Ritchey V3 Road for $50cdn. They are SPD-R and about the same weight.

I actually just bought a pair and rode on them for the first time this weekend. I was previously using an older pair of Look pedals.

In all they seem really nice. Once I switched to the Performance cleats, I had no problem releasing from the pedals. At 250grams for less than $80.00 they so far have performed very well.

Its hard for me to do a direct comparison because I was also riding on a new bike.

Like the previous poster said, ignore the marketing story of working with Look cleats. First time I tried, I couldn't get my shoes out of the pedals and had to perform a graceful "lie on your side in the grass in your front yard still attached to your bike" manouver to get free.

On the bright side, my wife still gets a chuckle at the memory three days later.

so, they work fine, but get performance cleats and they should fit my sidi's fine right?

The cleats are the same mounting pattern as Look. I think Sidi's come "Look Ready". At least mine 2002 models did.
