I'll pick Fred Rodriguez

Apparently they're bringing over Eddy Mazzoleni to support Rodriguez. After seeing the work he did
to support Garzelli in the Giro, you've got to think that Mazzoleni is capable of laying some
serious wood down at Philly. Men who have just finished 3 week tours have some bigtime fitness to
show off. Rodriguez will have his support and the support of the rest of the team as he is the only
American on that squad.

Saturn and the Navs appear to 'dislike' each other - could cancel each other out. Saturn will not be
able to dominate Philly like they have the early stuff - the course isn't suited to their strengths
(the climb only a 1k).

Prime Alliance seems to have been able to stay above the personality clash - they could surprise.

Schroeder has a few dark horses, but it's highly unlikely.

BTW, Aaron Quesnell has instructed me to post that he predicts Peter Knudsen to win. (Knudsen thinks
Quesnell is stupid)

CSC? I'm ignoring them even though Piil is on fire.

Fred Rodriguez. He's got the power, the speed, the team and the politics all working for him.

For the follow-up posts - no candyassing. One pick for the win, even if it is a candyass race (if a
foreigner wins, 1st American gets the jersey - candyassing at it's finest)

But I get grandfathered, right?

I made my candyass pick before the candyass rule was in effect.

OK, I'll change it - one pick for the win.

David Clinger.

Ya, I know.

Problem is, I don't talk to anyone that races against them and haven't seen any of their riders in
the Giro, so any comment I did make about them would be a pure spewage of aromatic excrement.

They look good though don't they? Remember when Julian Dean used to win everything when he raced
for Shaklee?
