at 11pm: rode into my first winter night ride through the town's
outskirts and over the bay bridge. nice. cool. no bugs. amazing how
cold sensitive bugs are. the weather here would support vast skin
eating clouds of blackflies in maine bit in swflorida, home of the
"biting insect," no activity at 70.
but at 11pm-9 calls from those passed by for the front mounted amber
photon blinky over a 8 mile course at 11pm.
this in a place where discouraging words are normative, the blinky is
upbeat trog stimulus! or maybe drunks like amber?
nervous summation and then analysis to response-eg that's bicycle not
a distant porch light may more effectively proceed from a turn on
stimulus more so than a negative one? or is this too progressive?
gotta late start from the library and had to ride into oncoming
freeway trog traffic past dusk on a 3' side berm. the sheriff, 4 cars
strong, had come into the Lib lot showing force in quelling a middle
school disagreement.

had 3 people ask where to buy during two night trips.

by the way: we suffered another fatal yesterday. guy went to the 7-ll
for grub. didn't make it back. doa. Deputy hitum. Deputy rolled the
