    Absolutely gorgeous bike. But what is with the funny ShimaNO pedals on a full Record Carbon equipped Colnago.

    That is illegal in a number of countries... :p

    Enjoy the riding!

    I agree. Shimanos on my Record-equipped bike too.

    Johan Museeuw can't be wrong. :D

    Just curious, how much did you spent for everything? I bet this is more than $7,777.

    Definitely a killer bike. But mine might look better...if I had the Boras, those are so awesome, and so expensive. Also, doesn't the watch get in your way?

    sweet!!! Is there any particular reason you went with a B-Stay and not an HP?

    BTW Why the hell doesn't polar make its stuffs available as regular bike computers and not as wristwatches? It's so stupid to have a so expensive thing -made for biking- with a "wrist-optimized" shape...

    -The Deda Alenera is very nice. It's a bit heavy, 420g for a 130mm/460mm. But is looks amazing and feels comfy.

    -I prefer the Shimano Dura Ace SPDSL, beacuse the pedals are lighter and look 'skinnier'. I have also Shimano cycling shoes, the carbon SHR215.

    -I bought the Bora's because they look :eek: :eek: . My camera isn't very good, but if you look good, you can see the beautiful carbon fiber weave of the rims. And the hubs! The wheels are light (1380 with quick releases), aero (50mm rim) and tubular. Of course there are lighter wheels (Zipp 404/303, Lightweight) but are they stiff and relyable??

    - The Polar fit's nice on the deda alanera because the bar is aero-like-shaped (not round).

    -I choosed the C40BStay and not the C40 HP or C50HP because;
    1. I'm light (62kg). The HP chainstay reduces more vibirations at higer body weight. (www.trialtir-usa.com).
    2. I don't like the HP chainstay with that strange hole in it.
    3. The C50 comes in ugly colors (not as :eek: as LX10).

    I bought the bike for 5500euro, that is about $6800. That inclued everything (the polar, the pedals etc.).

    My next project;

    A full TT bike of 6.8kg (UCI limit);

    -Colnago c45 ferrari frame
    -Lightweight wheel + Ghibli disc
    -Full record with AXLightness carbon brakes and tune carbon chainrings

    :p

    I do not dispute that Shimano makes nice pedals. You might want to try a set of Record Pro-Fits, and then you will surely see the light. ;)

    In any event, for the OP, gorgeous bike. Enjoy the riding! :D

    the perfect complement in terms of pedals to that bike would be speedplay. theyre such nice pedals.
