Thank you for the terrific evening at the Pinellas Trail Expansion
Celebration. My wife, Lorita, and I truly enjoyed it, and are eagerly
looking forward to the expansion of the trail into downtown St Petersburg.
Someday we will be able to take the kids on a bike ride from Azalea Park all
the way to Tropicana Stadium via the trail.
St Petersburg is such a superb city to cycle through. Now more people will
be able to enjoy the splendid sights, sounds and scrumptious smells in
downtown St Pete thanks to the expansion of the Pinellas Trail!
We truly appreciate all the hardwork that you and your staff have provided
to make the trail expansion possible. Our sincere thanks to: The Trust for
Public Land, the City of St Petersburg, the Florida Department of
Transportation, Pinellas County MPO, CSX, Congressman Bill Young, and the St
Pete Clay Company.

celebration and are happy to hear that you will be attending. To answer
a few of your questions: 1. There is no cost for the event, 2. The event
is more of a formal event that many city and county officials will be
attending, so there will be no recreational activities. Because of this
fact and at the request of the clay company, we are unfortunately not
allowed to invite children. I hope this does not inconvenience you or
your wife in the least. There will be appetizers and alcohol being
served and close to 150 people attending, so we hope you are your wife
can still attend. Please contact me if you have any more questions or
