  1. Hi.
I´m from Brazil and have been riding road bikes for more then 10 years, but now I decided to try track races also. Since I moved to a City with a Velodrome.
I know almost nothing about pista equipment, this kind of races are rare here, but it´s changing this year.

    My doubt is:
I bought a Planet X Aluminnum bike, without wheels. What is the best to do?
    - Try to set a light wheelset but not aero, or try to set aero wheels and forget the weight?

The aero wheels I´m talking about is something like a deepV, or the B43, with formula flip-flops. So, I really dont know if there is any real aero benefits using wheels with walls smaller than 45mm, but I think there isn´t.
The real aero stuff are very, but very expensive here...Otherwise I would by a disc rear wheel.😄

I´ll race scratch, Madison and maybe 4x4000m.

    Thank you.

For those events, I would opt for a set of Deep Vs laced to those hubs. Durability. I would also suggest using the Deep V tubular version, the ProElite.
