    Yield: 4 to 6 servings.

    1 (3.5-ounce) package sliced turkey pepperoni 1 (10-ounce)
    package refrigerated pizza dough 1 large egg, lightly
    beaten 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 1
    teaspoon Italian seasoning Pasta sauce, optional

    Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Arrange pepperoni slices
    between layers of paper towels on a microwave-safe plate.
    Microwave on high power for 1 minute. Unroll dough on a work
    surface; pat dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Brush lightly with
    egg (you will not use all the egg). Sprinkle with cheese and
    pepperoni. Roll up, jellyroll fashion. Place dough on a
    lightly greased baking sheet. Curl dough into a circle,
    pinching edges together to seal. Brush with remaining egg;
    sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes
    or until golden. Cut into 2-inch-thick slices; serve with
    warm pasta sauce.

    PER SERVING (based on 6 servings): 240 calories; 10.5g fat
    (39 percent calories from fat); 4g saturated fat; 76mg
    cholesterol; 14.5g protein; 22g carbohydrate; 2.5g sugar;
    0.5g fiber; 725mg sodium; 145mg calcium; 87mg potassium.
