If you have a Sam Ash store nearby you can sample and play guitars freely. Sometimes others are there playing as well so you can jam together.

I fully support your hobby. At one time, I also tried to play the guitar. I even bought the best guitar picks from Iron Age. Nothing good came out of it, but I can play something for myself by ear. And I don't care what other people think about my playing. It's what I can do for myself when I'm in the mood. Sometimes I can fool around with my brothers for fun and sing a jingle. I'll have to try that "guess the tune" game. My dad told me about it, too. Of course, I get excited when I hear professional guitar playing, and I'm happy for these people.
