I have an old Peugeot 10 speed that I got at a yard sale from the original owner. Based on the information I got at this page, I think it's a '70 to '74. I am unsure of the model, or anything else. Cany anyone tell me more specifics? Year? Model? Details: Serial Number is 1969680. Simplex derailleur and shifters. Mafac "Racer" brake levers and calipers. AVA stem.

    Here are some photos.

It's a very low end bike. The bike originally came with steel rims which appears yours still has them, the Simplex derailleur on yours was a pain in the ass when new not alone now that it's old. The brakes were also low end regardless of the Racer name! It was a heavy bike probably around 45 pounds maybe more. It's probably a 72 J8 or a UE8 model but someone else might be more exact.
