  1. I'm a road cyclist and although it's summer and warm where I live we had a pretty wet day yesterday and it drizzled non-stop for 5 hours. I didn't want to wear neoprene overshoes because my feet would have been roasting so I wore my time trial lycra overshoes instead. Unsurprisingly my feet got utterly soaked.

Can anybody recommend a good overshoe that is waterproof and won't let rain in no matter how wet these summer showers get?

    Many thanks

  2. You can buy waterproofing spray and treat your lycra covers.

Keep in mind that anything really waterproof won't breathe. For summer rainy riding, I think it best to use a well ventilated shoe that drains water fairly well, and just tolerate the wet feet. The best thing to help keep your feet dry would be to use SKF removable race blade fenders, since the biggest factor is the spray from the front wheel.
