Sorry if asked before.

I`ve been doing a spot of cross training just prior to upping my riding time (currently 3/4 rides per week). This involves 2 days per week of some pretty intensive rowing as well as gym work.

Question is how do I factor this into the PMC on cyclepeaks wko+??

Or do I not bother and just consider ride time?

Thanks

Problem with including cross training activities (I remember rmur17 mentionning this once), is that you got to be careful that these activities really contribute directly to cycling improvement.

100 TSS in cycling is likely to make you better cyclist. 100TSS at doing bench press, triceps extentions abs and little bit of jogging isn't likely to make you better at cycling. But yet, the CTL part of the equation won't make this distinction.

ATL wise, it's probably fair to include gym TSS. CTL wise... not so sure.

This problem doesn't exists for triathletes wanting to compute all 3 sports. Because swimming, running, or cycling will make them faster in triathlon as a whole.
