I was considering purchasing the Polar 625X since it has features for cycling and running. How has the feedback been so far with this product? Any gripes about how the product works?

Any feedback is appreciated.

Don't do it. Look into Timex or Garmin. They are easier to use. The Polar S625X is unintuitive and geeky - and that's coming from a programmer geek. And the antiquated method of affixing the speed and cadence sensors to a bike is just ridiculous. I mean really, zip ties are going to keep the sensors within .2 inch of their counterpart pieces.

Seriously, the Polar S625X is just awful from a design/usability standpoint. The data may be good, but getting it is just a pain. And don't get me started about the infrared. Ugh.

Though if you are not convinced I'd be happy to sell you mine. I can't wait to unload it.
