I recently purchased the Polar 720i, but bought the cadence sensor from eBay. I don't see anything in the 720i manual regarding mounting the sensor. I am assuming that it just goes on the chain stay. Anybody know where to find instructions? I also thought I would go ahead and change the battery before installing since it was used when I got it. Is there a trick to this? I pulled the housing apart, but the battery still doesn't seem easily accessible. Thought I would check here before tearing apart any further. Thanks

Installation is pretty straight forward (I'm assuming it's the same as my S710). The sensor goes on the downtube, the magnet on the crank. If the sensor is close enough you'll see the light inside it flash as the magnet passes for the first 50(?) revolutions. Turn on 'Cadence' function on your monitor and you're away.

    Hope this helps.
