I've got a Polar M51 HRM but there are some features of a S710 or 720 that would be helpful for my training. The problem is that Polar only provide software for Windows, not OS X. Does anyone know of a Mac based 3rd party solution?

If you want you could use a pc emulator (as in Virtual PC) to use the windows based programs, though it may be a bit expensive solution...maybe a demo or some kind of trial is available on their website...

I haven'y checked in awhile, but you may want to do a search on sourceforge.net. This website has a huge collection of applications and utilities written by developers . . .and best of all it's all free software.

Check this website out. They have exactly what you are looking for...I have not tried it yet (need to buy serial IR thingamajig and a serial to USB thingamajig first), but it looks very promising.
