Hi.
I've just bought a secondhand Polar CS200.
It doesn't have the strap / pick up in the middle of the strap.

What should I buy to replace it?

you can buy a new strap from different Polar suppliers, they have 2 or 3 strap models for you to choose one,

I'm in the same boat. I have a model S210 Polar and misplaced my transmitter & strap. A replacement costs about $40, I believe. It would be neat to upgrade and get a unit that would download my workouts to my home computer. I hesitate because of the ordeal of punching in all my rides and zones and other data.

My home computer is a Macintosh, and I don't even know if a newer Polar would feed into that. It would sure automate things not to have to record all the data.

Cheers.
Do they sell ones with replaceable batteries?

yes that's the one i use, the battery is inside the unit located in the middle of the textile-like strap, you take out that unit after every ride, then rinse the strap with water and dry it with a towel, all this takes 10 seconds of your time and will make the strap + unit last for years.
