My Polar S150 is supposed to measure speed and distance. It works by fastening the wrist watch onto the bike mount, such that two points on back of the wrist watch comes into contact with two points on a plate affixed to the bike mount.
The problem is that the wrist watch can't be fastened securely enough to the bike mount to ensure sustained contact between the points. As a consequence, I sometimes get a reading and sometimes do not. Are other people having this problem with the S150? Does anyone know a solution? Does anyone know whether both of the two points have to make contact?

Is this a new watch? The mount comes with tie wraps to anchor it on the handle bars. If you have the power option with the watch it will require the two points to phyical connect or else the speed sensor on the front forks(which comes with the watch) is wireless (as is the monitoring strap for your chest).

Same problem occasionally-I just have to wiggle the watch a bit and it clicks ito place, it doesnt seem to locate first time every time
