It's either running, or a mountain bike ride with my pops and his buds, which is a very easy pace for me.

    WOW ! that's 3 to 4 hrs a day, Wow again ! Why ?

I did a cycle tour last year over nine days. First day was a 35k nothing then the next three days we climbed mountains, about 80 k a day. Fifth day was a day off. I just sat in the pub, drank while my legs just throbbed. Last four days was undulating but mostly downwards so by day nine it was a comfortably numb thing going on.

All training is work/family dependent. I bike commute (active rest at best) and fit in trainer rides whenever I can. In a good week, I might do 10 hours, plus a couple of runs.
