Hey RD, looks like our power as well as our cadence is similar:

FTP: 325w (recently averaged 310w for 100 min.)
Age: 38
Wt: 76 kg
Yrs racing: 1 (only 2 races)
Results: 28th, 26th out of ~50
Cool, and I plan to be at your weight by the time things get serious later this spring.:D

ft 370
ft hr- 180
max power- 1450
vo2- 80
kg- 67
years racing- 4

Not sure if it is my threshold, I imagine my threshold is a little higher. Today I did 52.5 minutes (was supposed to be 50) in zone 3. Here is what I came up with.

30 minute average - 295
My weight is 75.5 kilos.
30 years old

I am planning on doing my first road race (cat 5) in February. I'm hoping to not be embarassed.

damn, 5.5w/kg for an hour and you can finish 'em off with a burst at 22w/kg. sounds pretty solid. which 5 races did you win?

FTP: doing 2x20's at approximately 300 currently. could go harder. i want to get it back up to 310 or 315 by april. i'm an all rounder, repitition of effort and recovery seem to be strong points.
MASS: 72kg.
AGE: 26
Years Racing: going onto 4th, which will be 2nd year as 2.
best result, win as 3. haven't done anything but early season podium and a few top 10's as a 2.

also, i'm really surprised by cat 4's with FTP's close to mid-300's.

Don't know how to work out my FT, would have to go and re-read AC's training stuff....

Last 2 x 20min I did on the trainer at work:

Power: 230-240w
Age: 33
Time Training: 6mths (cycling training, was reasonably fit when I started riding again)

That was after 5weeks no exercise and heavy smoking

Would like to get it up to 300w by late April for a local 24hr XC MTB race. Dunno if that's a realistic goal, but I'll try.

And he is two months stronger from November when he did the test after doing a big endurance block before he started back at school.

So I posted earlier on this thread, saying it was 300w, I was wrong. Turns out I am 320, measured LT at a lab test... But, today, I rode a 30 minute, 13 mile, 3 man break (winning move) in a 1/2/3 race and ended up with normalized power of 336w, and I sat in for a lap... that works out to be ~4.6w/kg. 26yrs cat 2.

What was your power during those TTs? I would imagine it must of been much higher than 250, more like 350+

but then again, don't all you Brits do your TTs with 18wheelers constantly passing you? :D

I have no idea I have only had a powertap since Christmas :D

I normally arrange 20 Eddie Stobbart's to come by when I'm TTing. ;) http://www.eddiestobart.co.uk/

Ok I'll jump in...

Max power achieved for 20 min = about 330 watts
So FTP as 95% (correct me if I'm wrong) of 330 = 313 watts
18 y.o.
female
have been training but not racing... yet

with that FTP you will probably win every TT that you ever enter....
