  1. Anyone tried using powerpoint slides to do cycling training on a stationary trainer?

For example have a slide saying 120rpm 1 minute, then slow pedalling 2 minutes, etc. The gearing ratio to cycle at, etc.

One could structure a cycling program around this and even attach music to the slides.

Of course a simple stopwatch and a program written on paper would suffice, but automating this just makes it that much harder to find an excuse not to train.

  2. Put some pictures of attractive people on there and you'd have a Spinervals DVD.

must be hard up in kansas these days.......the fake riders (i.e. team excel) in the spinervals are sprayed with water to make them look like they are sweating, have the resistance to the wheel set at zero, and then make all sorts of funny faces and body motions like they are struggling under coach troy's ironhand. besides that all of the guys are old and fat, and the women are all soccer moms getting a rear end massage on a lemond trainer.

you want to make great DVD's for indoor training....get ProShow Gold. drop and drag pictures, google earth course images, videos, music, and all bike commands (interval, gear, sit, stand, aero, whatever)..........so easy
