PRESS RELEASE: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Poughkeepsie Area Chamber of Commerce and the Hudson Valley Velo Club are proud to announce the
4th annual Poughkeepsie (NY) Race Weekend. The all new Downtown Poughkeepsie Criterium will be on
July 19, 2003. The title sponsor for the criterium is Indotronix International (IIC) which is the
Hudson Valley's premier IT services provider. IIC provides a vast array of IT services including:
data center support, outsourcing, application integration, software development, website
development, call centers, network management, and training. Based in Poughkeepsie, NY, IIC has over
15 offices and 600 employees worldwide. IIC will be providing a "grand prize" for the event, a 36
inch color television. Each race winner (except for the junior and kids races) will be entered into
a drawing to select the winner of the Grand Prize, which will be selected at a post-race dinner at
the Italian Center in Poughkeepsie. The all-you-can-eat dinner will be $10 if registered before July
17 at www.bikereg.com or $12 after July 17.

The criterium course, new for 2003, is a flat, 6 corner criterium in downtown Poughkeepsie, starting
and finishing in front of the Chamber of Commerce building on Main Street. The course is designed to
showcase the ongoing revitalization of Downtown Poughkeepsie. All USCF categories will be offered as
well as Masters 30+, 40+ and 50+ and a junior 10-14 year old category. The races are part of the
Masters Cycle Racing Association series, the Cycle Loft Women's Category 3 and 4 series, the Maxxis
Upstate New York Cycling Cup and the Lance Armstrong Junior Olympic Series.

The Union Vale road race will be held on July 20, 2003. The race will be contested on the same roads
as in previous years. The course features a 14 mile rolling loop with 3 varying climbs per lap,
followed by a 1.4 mile grueling climb to a hilltop finish. All USCF categories are offered as well
as masters 35+, 45+, and 55+. Racers will complete between 4 and 6 laps, depending on category. The
races are part of the Masters Cycle Racing Association series and the Cycle Loft Women's Category 3
and 4 series. Winners of the men's Pro 1/2 race, the category 3 men's race, the master's 35+ men's
race and the women's
1/2/3 race will receive Festina watches courtesy of Jaymark Jewelery.

There will be a minimum of $4500 in prizes distributed throughout the weekend. For complete race and
