Thanks for the site referal, hmm, quite a lot of banter, my interest was peeked on an article debating this point, in our local bicycling mag”do you benefit from pre or post. Stretching”, personally i never stretch pre or post, so i was interested in seeing if anyone had actually set down specific stretches for cyclists and what areas they targeted. The article concluded only post stretching strengthened muscles. But i assume warming up is stretching, i always cycle the first couple of 100m or so slowly with a lot of exaggerated movement to get the body ready for the ride.
This works for me,but i'm thinking if i stretch after the ride will i benefit?
