Hi, I have a strange problem. At the weeken in the PEak District I put on a Campagnolo Record 13-29 cassette I have. I usually use a 12-25 cassette but have some touring planned in the Alpes in a few weeks and anted to use the 13-29. In the past I have had a medium cage rear mech on which been fine but alot of people say that you can use the short cage rear mech as long a you are careful and avoid the big/big combinations...this is fine. However, I found that I could use the 29 tooth sprocket fine, the 26 jumped under any sort of pressure (like out of the saddle up Winats pass!), the 23 is also fine. Ever other gear works fine...how can this be? the cassette is new as is the chain.
