Project: Cycling Shirt & Shorts

I have undertaken to design new cycling kit for the cyclists within our company. I have given my specs to three "reputable" manufacturers and now await their artwork plus quotes.

I thought it might be interesting to hear forum views on the "ideal cycling kit."

What would your ideal shirt look like? Full length zip? Hidden zip? Long sleeves? Short sleeves? NO sleeves? Back pocket configuration? Logo placement? A "busy" shirt or a plain understated shirt? Number of colours? etc

.....and the shorts?

Hmmm ideal shirt....

i don't know if i could have a definitive shirt, around Sydney it can get fairly cool or stinking hot so sometimes you need a vest, sometimes a normal shirt and sometimes a long sleeve.

my preference is for the zips that are about 3/4 the length of the shirt. As for pockets i'd like a couple of small pockets for my MP3 player and mobile and then a couple of larger pockets for food and stuff

colours? as long as its not fluoro its ok
