Yeah I know this sounds crazy, and probably lost of old posts on this topic,
but anyway, I just bought a new pump yesterday properly inflated my old 26 x
1 & 3/8 650a size tires with the recommended pressure, and WOW! What a
difference just 10 or 15 pounds makes in the way a bike performs. The
recommended pressure for my tires is 65psi and I was floating somewhere in
the 50psi range. I had a lot of fun with the right pressure in there this
morning, on the morning ride. Even with a bit of wind!
