pump valve stuck

Kinda sounds to me like it's the valve in your tube that's getting stuck -
sounds to me like there's nothing wrong with your pump.

Common situation, if you have presta valves. The valve gets stuck. I
loosen the nut, then tap the end with the pump head to unstick the valve
(so little air comes out). Then it will work fine.

didnt think of that. thx

pumps need maintenance. take apart at regular intervals, clean,
regrease with silicone grease so aso not to rot the rubbah.
