Pumpkin Butter Spread

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter softened
1 15 oz can pumpkin
1/2 cup honey
juice from a small lemon
1/2 tsp pumpkin or apple pie spice or to taste
dash of salt to taste
Place all in small pot and heat on low, to gradually melt butter. Mix all
well. Place in dish and chill
well. Use as a spread for scones, biscuits , waffles etc.
