Purchase of Giant TCR-1

I'm considering getting a Giant TCR-1 carbon fiber. I've herd the headset doesn't use bearing races
that can be replaced when they wear out, so it's the end of the road for the frame in this
situation. True? Also, is there any other problems with the bare carbon frame? I've noticed it isn't
clear coated. If some sweat gets on it, and, say the aluminum water bottle cages would I have a
corrosion possibility?
