I am looking for information on adjusting the Q-factor. When riding with platforms which allow a wider Q-factor I have less knee problems than with my Look road or Time ATACs.
I have read that Time Impacts have adjustable Q-factor but how much?
Also, has anyone seen a spacer for between the pedal and crank arm or have any good knowledge on how thick of a washer could safely be inserted here without fear of destroying the crank?

Some Time pedal models (RXE, RXS current) are adjustable by 2.5mm. I have had no experience with them, but I had thought that these typically allowed the narrowing of the Q-factor by that amount over the standard line; the opposite of what it sounds like you want. I could be wrong on that. ATAC Alium has 6mm lateral float, others 5mm. Do they still make Impacts? see info: time-sport.comaccueil.htmOpen ↗
